Backstab is an attack that allows a person to damage a target's most vulnerable point with rapid speed and accuracy. It is only possible to perform this attack with a light weapon such as a dagger or rapier. Although most people can be ambushed in the open, it is necessary to be out of sight to attack the more alert targets. Sleeping people can always be backstabbed.
